Jean-Luc Azoulay
CEO

Jean-Luc Azoulay is the creator and producer behind the iconic 1990s AB Productions French television franchises, Club Dorothée, Premiers Baisers, Hélène & les Garçons, and many others. In 1999, he acquired the production division of Groupe AB and founded JLA Groupe. Azoulay has since produced more than 100 major primetime drama hits including Navarro, L’Instit, Quai N°1, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and Les Rois Maudits. In 2007, he launched the Paris-based network IDF1. In 2011, he successfully revived the Hélène & les Garçons franchise with Les Mystères de l’Amour for which he is also the screenwriter.

Under Azoulay’s leadership, JLA Groupe has expanded into a diversified content studio producing high-volume daytime programming, primetime dramas, feature-length projects, entertainment formats, and animation, and creates more hit series on French television than any other independent producer.

Axel Danlos began his career in entertainment public relations in 2002 before joining M6 in 2006, where he led press strategy for French television series. He was promoted to Communication Manager in 2013, in charge of PR for M6’s French series, film, animation, lifestyle, and sports divisions. Following senior communications roles at Aidem Communication and Canal+ Group, Danlos joined JLA Groupe in 2020 as Head of Communication.

Prior to joining JLA in October 2025, David Gregg was Vice President of International Publicity at BBL Distribution, Inc. for 22 years, where he oversaw international marketing and publicity for the most-watched soap in the world, The Bold and the Beautiful. Previously, he was Senior Account Executive at the Beverly Hills entertainment marketing and publicity firm, Bragman, Nyman, Cafarelli, where his many clients included Nissan and a bouquet of LVMH brands. From 1997 to 2001, he was Director of Press and Public Relations, Western USA, for Maison de la France, the division of the French Consulate in Los Angeles, promoting tourism to France. He lived, studied and worked in Paris, France from 1989 to 1997.

He later joined TF1 as Head of Primetime Drama, overseeing series including RIS, Section de Recherches, and Alice Nevers. In 2009, Berkowitz returned to JLA Groupe and produced Camping Paradis, Commissaire Magellan, Monsieur Parizot, the limited series Jeu de Dames, and multiple drama projects. He subsequently founded Episode Productions within JLA Groupe, producing Meurtres à la Rochelle, Le Prix de la Vérité, the France 2 ratings hit Simon Coleman, Crimes Parfaits, and the limited series Jugée Coupable and Un Soupçon.

Since joining JLA Groupe in 2014, he has produced several TF1 primetime hits including La Vengeance aux Yeux Clairs, Munch (starring Isabelle Nanty), and Le Daron (starring Didier Bourdon). Bouilloux also produces Astrid et Raphaëlle for France 2, a critically acclaimed and internationally distributed drama series.

His credits as creator and producer include Contact, Imposture, and the award-winning limited series La Forêt (Best Series, La Rochelle TV Festival). Carmona’s recent successes include Alexandra Ehle (averaging 4.5 million viewers on France 3) and L’Eclipse, one of France 2’s top-rated series of 2024. He is currently producing the Canal+ event limited series Sud Est Babylone.

After executive roles at Ellipsanime, he founded Studio Reaz (JLA Groupe subsidiary) in 2015 where he produced the highly rated  animated series Patamuse and Imago. In 2022, Rea launched Potomak Films to expand his activities in television animation and produced the limited series Jana (acquired by Viaplay and Amazon MGM Studios), as well as the TF1 drama Erica, adapted from the novels of Camilla Läckberg.

Soraya Alami is a graduate of Sciences Po Rennes and ESCP Business School, where she earned an MSc in Media Management. Alami began her career at UGC, EuropaCorp, and StudioCanal before joining the CNC. She later moved into production at MyFamily, where she worked on several series and feature films, including Belle-fille and Maison de Retraite. Alami subsequently joined Mediawan Group as Literary Director at Scarlett Production, where she contributed to the development of the France Télévisions series Poulets Grillés and multiple streaming projects. She joined Carma Films in 2022.

An actor and screenwriter, Mathieu Delarive joined JLA Groupe as a producer while continuing his work as a performer and writer. He develops and produces the TF1 primetime series Camping Paradis and Monsieur Parizot alongside Richard Berkowitz. Their collaboration also includes the limited series Un Soupçon. They are currently developing additional drama and series projects.

A graduate of IMPGT and Sciences Po Aix-en-Provence, Marine Guarino began her career in film production, working across multiple sets before joining JLA Groupe in 2017. She served as Post-Production Executive on a range of series and dramas, including Camping Paradis, Astrid et Raphaëlle, and the animated series Imago. In 2022, Guarino joined Martin Rea at Studio Reaz, where she produced the animated series Patamuse. Since 2023, she has overseen artistic production on TF1’s hit drama Erica, adapted from the novels of Camilla Läckberg. Guarino continues to collaborate with Martin Rea under the Potomak Films label.

Stéphane Peccoux began his career as a talent agent (1998–2009), founding an agency specializing in writers and directors and representing a broad range of creative talent. He later served as Literary Director for several production companies, including Ramona Production, Made in PM, and Elephant Story. After producing Season 2 of Le Daron, Peccoux joined JLA Productions as a producer in April 2025.

Ludovic Lestavel joined JLA Groupe in 2002, contributing to numerous series and drama productions. He directed his first documentary, Il était une fois Dorothée, in 2010 and became Artistic Director of Les Mystères de l’Amour in 2012. Following several successful documentary projects as both producer and director, Lestavel founded Ludoc Prod in 2015, a JLA Groupe subsidiary dedicated to documentary production. He continues to develop scripted series and drama projects for JLA Productions.

A graduate of ESRA and UCLA (Producing Certificate Program), Alexandra Cossu has worked across both feature film and television production. Her credits include Stéphane Brizé’s Une vie, Antonin Baudry’s Le chant du loup, and the Canal+ series Engrenages and Mouche. Cossu also served as a script reader for M6. She currently partners with Jean-Luc Azoulay and Denis Karvil as co-founder of Kaaz Productions.

Following an early career as an actor, including work in Italy, Denis Karvil founded Alizés Films and became a leading producer of television drama for M6. His credits include the Vertiges anthology, as well as the series Arianne Ferry and Eternelle. Karvil has produced over 120 television films for public broadcasters including Arte and TF1, as well as the police procedurals Les Bœuf-carottes and Femmes de Loi, both recipients of Best Series honors at the Fiction Festival. Mathieu Delarive

An actor and screenwriter, Mathieu Delarive joined JLA Groupe as a producer while continuing his work as a performer and writer. He develops and produces the TF1 primetime series Camping Paradis and Monsieur Parizot alongside Richard Berkowitz. Their collaboration also includes the limited series Un Soupçon. They are currently developing additional drama and series projects.

A Spanish national, Gala Vara-Eiriz began her career as a project manager at M6

Interactions. In 2002, she joined the feature film production company Same Player as an associate producer. Vara-Eiriz’s credits include collaborations on several commercially successful films, including Eric Lavaine’s Retour chez ma mère (2.2 million admissions in 2016), Yvan Attal’s Mon chien stupide, Philippe Guillard’s Papy Sitter, and Eric Besnard’s L’esprit de famille.

A graduate of IMPGT and Sciences Po Aix-en-Provence, Marine Guarino began her career in film production, working across multiple sets before joining JLA Groupe in 2017. She served as Post-Production Executive on a range of series and dramas, including Camping Paradis, Astrid et Raphaëlle, and the animated series Imago. In 2022, Guarino joined Martin Rea at Studio Reaz, where she produced the animated series Patamuse. Since 2023, she has overseen artistic production on TF1’s hit drama Erica, adapted from the novels of Camilla Läckberg. Guarino continues to collaborate with Martin Rea under the Potomak Films label.

Stéphane Peccoux began his career as a talent agent (1998–2009), founding an agency specializing in writers and directors and representing a broad range of creative talent. He later served as Literary Director for several production companies, including Ramona Production, Made in PM, and Elephant Story. After producing Season 2 of Le Daron, Peccoux joined JLA Productions as a producer in April 2025.

Ludovic Lestavel joined JLA Groupe in 2002, contributing to numerous series and drama productions. He directed his first documentary, Il était une fois Dorothée, in 2010 and became Artistic Director of Les Mystères de l’Amour in 2012. Following several successful documentary projects as both producer and director, Lestavel founded Ludoc Prod in 2015, a JLA Groupe subsidiary dedicated to documentary production. He continues to develop scripted series and drama projects for JLA Productions.

Alexandra Cossu

Alexandra Cossu

A graduate of ESRA and UCLA (Producing Certificate Program), Alexandra Cossu has worked across both feature film and television production. Her credits include Stéphane Brizé’s Une vie, Antonin Baudry’s Le chant du loup, and the Canal+ series Engrenages and Mouche. Cossu also served as a script reader for M6. She currently partners with Jean-Luc Azoulay and Denis Karvil as co-founder of Kaaz Productions.

Denis Karvil

Following an early career as an actor, including work in Italy, Denis Karvil founded Alizés Films and became a leading producer of television drama for M6. His credits include the Vertiges anthology, as well as the series Arianne Ferry and Eternelle. Karvil has produced over 120 television films for public broadcasters including Arte and TF1, as well as the police procedurals Les Bœuf-carottes and Femmes de Loi, both recipients of Best Series honors at the Fiction Festival. In 2022, he partnered with Jean-Luc Azoulay and Alexandra Cossu to launch Kaaz Productions.
